Yamaha MG12XU
Yamaha MG12XU is a versatile and compact analog plain mixer designed for professional audio applications. It offers an expanded channel count compared to the MG10XU, making it suitable for small to medium-sized live sound setups, recording studios, and portable PA systems.
Featuring twelve input channels, the MG12XU provides flexible connectivity options. It includes six mono microphone/line inputs with high-quality Class-A D-PRE preamps, allowing you to connect microphones, instruments, or line-level sources. Additionally, there are three stereo line inputs for connecting keyboards, playback devices, or other stereo audio sources.
Each input channel on the MG12XU is equipped with a 3-band EQ (high, mid, and low) for precise tonal shaping. It also features a high-pass filter to eliminate low-frequency rumble or unwanted noise. Moreover, the mixer offers built-in digital effects, providing a range of reverbs, delays, modulation effects, and more, to enhance your sound and add depth to your mixes.
The MG12XU plain mixer includes a USB audio interface, allowing you to connect it directly to a computer for recording or playback. This feature enables you to easily capture your performances or play back audio from your computer through the mixer. The mixer is compatible with major digital audio workstation (DAW) software, making it convenient for home studio setups.
In terms of outputs, the MG12XU provides a stereo main output for connecting powered speakers or amplifiers. It also offers a dedicated monitor output for connecting studio monitors or creating a separate mix for stage monitors. Additionally, it has a headphone output for private monitoring and an aux send/return loop for integrating external effects processors or creating monitor mixes.
